ExaminationService. A service in whichcarrierorganizes an appropriate inspection of the container, e.g. VACIS/X-ray/scanner. The service is provided in the following cases: - Customer's request; - Customs/security regulations and/or legal requirements; - Type of cargo that requires verification; - State legislation requiring verification. The carrier contacts the relevant authorities (e.g. US Customs) to arrange for an inspection when and if necessary, and learns its cost.
