On a single sign of product circulation on the market of the Eurasian Economic Union and the procedure for its application

Image of a single sign of product circulation on the market EAEU is a combination of three stylized letters "E", "A" and "C", graphically executed using right angles, has the same height and width, is the exact proportions of a square on a light (Fig. 1) or on a contrasting background (Fig. 2) ). The procedure for applying a single mark of circulation of products on the market of the Eurasian Economic Union

1 area of ​​use

This Procedure was developed in accordance with the Treaty on the EAEU dated May 29.05.2014, XNUMX and defines the rules for the application, form and size of a single mark of circulation of products on the EAEU market (hereinafter referred to as the single mark of circulation).

 2. General provisions

A single sign of circulation indicates that the products marked with it have passed all the conformity assessment (confirmation) procedures established in the technical regulations of the EAEU (technical regulations of the Customs Union) and comply with the requirements of all technical regulations of the EAEU (technical regulations of the Customs Union) that apply to these products.

Marking a single sign of circulation is carried out before the release of products into circulation on the EAEU market.

3. Description of the image of a single sign of circulation

3.1. The single sign of circulation has the following image:

3.2. The image of a single sign of circulation is a combination of three stylized letters "E", "A" and "C", graphically executed using right angles, has the same height and width, is the exact proportions of a square on a light (Fig. 1) or on a contrasting background (Fig. 2).

EAC stands for Eurasian Conformity.

3.3. The size of a single sign of circulation is determined by the manufacturer, the person authorized by the manufacturer, the importer (supplier) who has received the right to use it. 

The basic size of a single sign of circulation must be at least 5 mm. The dimensions of a single sign of circulation must guarantee the clarity of its elements and their visibility with the naked eye against the general color background of the object. The image of a single sign of circulation on a scale grid is shown in Figures 3 and 4.

3.4. A single sign of circulation can be made in any way that ensures its clear and distinct image throughout the entire service life (shelf life) of the product.

4. The procedure for applying a single sign of circulation

Manufacturers, persons authorized by the manufacturer, importers (suppliers) of products have the right to label them with a single sign of circulation, if the product has passed all the conformity assessment procedures established by the relevant technical regulation of the EAEU (technical regulation of the Customs Union) on the territory of any of the member states of the EAEU, which is confirmed by documents, provided for the relevant forms of conformity assessment in the EAEU.

5. Rules for the use of a single sign of circulation

5.1. A single sign of circulation is applied to each unit of production, packaging or accompanying documentation.

5.2. The image of a single sign of circulation of the Parties must be one-color and contrast with the color of the surface on which it is applied.

5.3. The place of application of a single sign of circulation on products, containers (packaging) and documentation is established in the technical regulations of the EAEU (technical regulations of the Customs Union).

5.4. It is not allowed to apply markings, signs and inscriptions that can mislead consumers and interested parties regarding the meaning and image of a single sign of circulation.

If other marks of conformity are applied to the products, including the marks of conformity of voluntary product certification systems, then they should not impair the visibility, legibility and readability of the unified mark of circulation.
