Far Eastern business took part in the work of the International Customs Forum, RIA "Vostok-Media" writes.

The plans include the creation of a single hotline, the expansion of the functionality of advisory councils at regional customs administrations, the development of an Expert Advisory Council.

At the session "New Customs legislation: first results and future prospects", topical tools of interaction between business and the state were discussed, reflected in the updated system of regulatory documents: the Customs CodeThe EAEUand the Federal Law "On Customs Regulation in the Russian Federation".

At one of the meetings, the issues of interaction between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the Main Customs Administration of China in the conditions of constantly changing market conditions and increasing trade volumes were discussed. Representatives of the Russian and Chinese sides discussed the use of the latest technologies, acceleration of customs operations while maintaining effective control, implementation of joint projects and other topics.

The head of the Far Eastern Customs Administration, Yuri Ladygin, evaluating the past forum, noted its rich business program. Customs officers at the round tables and sessions were able to discuss with government and business representatives topical issues of the development of foreign economic activity, improving customs administration, measures of state support for foreign trade participants and other topics.

An open dialogue with the forum participants helped to get to know the pressing business problems better, to hear opinions and suggestions about the changes taking place in the customs authorities related to digitalization.

All this will contribute to the intensification of entrepreneurial activity, the development of international regional cooperation of customs services and the attraction of investors.
