Flexitank it is a large, flexible container container with a volume of 12 to 24 thousand liters, for transporting non-hazardous liquids in a standard 20-foot container. Flexitank allows you to transform a standard 20-foot dry container into a carrier for liquid cargo, replacing expensive tank containers.

The material from which flexitank is made does not interact with the cargo even in case of high temperatures and during long-term transportation. The outer shell of the flexitank is made of polypropylene; the inner part is made of four layers of food grade polyethylene. Flexitank is made of materials approved for use in contact with food.

In Flexitanks, a wide range of liquid cargoes can be transported, both for industrial use and for food products.

For cargo transportation to Flexitank, you can use containers of standard size ICC, 1C weighing gross 30,48 tons transported by road, rail or sea. Containers must be made in accordance with all requirements. ISO. Container design, size, load capacity, certification, KBK label and operational requirements must comply with international standards.

The side walls of the container should be corrugated and should not be deformed, there should be no signs of repair on the walls of the containers, both doors of the container should have two operable locks, the container should not have any damage to the doorway and door hinges.

Containers must be cleaned of labels indicating "dangerous goods", from any extraneous markings or labels, do not contain residues of radioactive or toxic materials, containers must be clean and dry, without sharp corners, loose screws of the floor and doors, dents, walls and floor of the container must be free of stains and other sources of contamination that can react with flexitank material.

To prepare the container for using flexitank, you must:

  • conduct a visual inspection of the container for foreign objects in the walls and in the floor, remove old nails, screws and other parts that could damage the flexitank;
  • carefully sweep the floor of the container with an industrial brush, inspect the floor for possible defects, clean the brush and sweep the floor again, paying particular attention to the nail caps and metal fragments, if they are detected, carefully remove them.

To load non-hazardous liquid cargo into flexitank, you must:

  • close and lock the left door of the container;
  • stick on the left door of the container the information plate "Do not open the door when the container is loaded."
  • remove the dust cap;
  • unscrew the valve cover; check the valve is clean;
  • connect the pipe with the valve, fix the latch. It is forbidden to squeeze and tap the valve during installation;
  • ensure that the hose and valve are at the same level;
  • flexitank fill evenly. Start loading at minimum pump pressure; let the flexitank straighten out with minimal pressure
  • stop loading when the desired volume / weight is reached, turn off the pump and close the liner valve;
  • close the container door.

Flexitank delivery set includes:

  • horizontal metal beam with dimensions of 50x50x2400 mm, with a wall thickness of 4 mm - 5 pcs;
  • horizontal metal beam (with extension) 40x40x2400 mm in size, with a wall thickness of 4 mm;
  • corrugated cardboard 2-ply in a roll with a width of 1500-1700 mm;
  • corrugated cardboard shield 7-ply 1600x2300 mm;
  • flexitank 5746x2300x1700 mm;
  • cardboard sleeves - 10 pcs;
  • plastic inserts of horizontal beams - 5 pcs;
  • plastic clamps for securing the valve - 2 pcs.

The total mass of fasteners and materials used is about 110 kg. of which the flexitank mass is 41 kg.

Flexitank has the following sizes:

  • Length in the filled state - 5800 ± 20 mm
  • Width in the filled state - 2320 ± 20 mm
  • Height in the filled state - 1700 ± 200 mm

Why Flexitank is more profitable than any other container

The first and most important advantage of using flexitanks is that they are significantly cheaper than tank containers, barrels and eurocubes (IBC).

The use of flekstankov makes it possible to transport

  • 15% more payload than IBC
  • 44% more payload than barreled transport
  • 50% more payload than shipment in small containers

Flexitanks are disposable and do not require the cost of cleaning and disposal.

Flexitank is intended for operation on land, rivers and lakes in macroclimatic regions with a temperate cold climate, meets GOST 15150-69 UHL.

The technology of placing Flexitank into a container is simple and takes about 20-30 minutes, after which it is ready for filling, which takes about 30-40 minutes more.

The use of Flexitanks makes it possible to reduce losses during unloading.

Often, consignors of liquid cargo encounter delays in the supply of tank containers, while using Flexitanks there will be no such problem.
