Flexitank allows you to transform a standard 20-foot dry container into a carrier for liquid cargo, replacing expensive tank containers. 

The material from which flexitank is made does not interact with the cargo even in case of high temperatures and during long-term transportation. The outer shell of the flexitank is made of polypropylene; the inner part is made of four layers of food grade polyethylene. Flexitank is made of materials approved for use in contact with food.

For cargo transportation to Flexitank, you can use containers of standard size ICC, 1C weighing gross 30,48 tons transported by road, rail or sea. Containers must be made in accordance with all requirements. ISO. Container design, size, load capacity, certification, KBK label and operational requirements must comply with international standards.

The side walls of the container should be corrugated and should not be deformed, there should be no signs of repair on the walls of the containers, both doors of the container should have two operable locks, the container should not have any damage to the doorway and door hinges.

Containers must be cleaned of labels indicating "dangerous goods", from any extraneous markings or labels, do not contain residues of radioactive or toxic materials, containers must be clean and dry, without sharp corners, loose screws of the floor and doors, dents, walls and floor of the container must be free of stains and other sources of contamination that can react with flexitank material.

To prepare the container for using flexitank, you must:

• conduct a visual inspection of the container for foreign objects in the walls and in the floor, remove old nails, screws and other parts that could damage the flexitank;
• carefully sweep the floor of the container with an industrial brush, inspect the floor for possible defects, clean the brush and sweep the floor again, paying particular attention to the nail caps and metal fragments, if they are detected, carefully remove them.

To load non-hazardous liquid cargo into flexitank, you must:

• close and lock the left door of the container;
• stick on the left door of the container the information plate "Do not open the door when the container is loaded."
• remove the dust cap;
• unscrew the valve cover; check the valve is clean;
• connect the pipe with the valve, fix the latch. It is forbidden to squeeze and tap the valve during installation;
• ensure that the hose and valve are at the same level;
• flexitank fill evenly. Start loading at minimum pump pressure; let the flexitank straighten out with minimal pressure
• stop loading when the desired volume / weight is reached, turn off the pump and close the liner valve;
• close the container door.
