Hazard Statements (H-phrases, Hazard Statements, Hazard statements) are uniform warnings of the nature or degree of a hazard, established under the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS).
Warnings are used as a set of standard phrases to briefly describe common hazards associated with handling chemicals. In 2011, the list of warnings was republished in the fourth revised edition of the GHS.
