Hazard Statements (H-phrases, hazard statements, hazard statements) are unified warnings about the nature or degree of danger established within the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
Warnings are used as a set of standard phrases to briefly describe common hazards that arise when working with chemicals. In 2011, the list of warnings was republished in the fourth revised edition of the GHS.
