EDITIONS
Submission of Cargo Declaration - Export. Export Data Declaration Service (EDITIONS) to the local customs office on behalf of the client.Carriermediates between the customs and the client to ensure that the necessary documents are provided at the specified time. EDD does not apply to transit cargo, cargo delivered with transshipment or the remainder of the cargo on board (FROB), although the carrier must still provide a declaration to the local authorities.
DTHC

Destination Terminal Handling Charges. The costs of unloading at the destination port cover the cost of handling the container at the destination port or terminal. This service is applicable for all cargoes.

DROP-OFF CHARGE
A fee for the return of a container belonging to the carrier in a place other than the destination specified in the carrier's bill of lading. 
DPI

During Production Inspection- inspection in order to identify problems, manufacturing defects, product defects. This inspection is most effective at the initial, 30% stage of the production of a batch of goods.

DOOR
Delivery to the door. The condition of carriage at departure/arrival means thatfreight forwarderassumes responsibilities for the organization of transportation to / from the entrance doors / warehouse of the sender / recipient; the cost of transportation includes services for sending from / to the entrance
DOCUMENTS AGAINST PAYMENT
D / p. an indication on the project that the documents are attached to the issue by the payer only for payment.
DOCUMENTS AGAINST ACCEPTANCE
D / a. instructions given by the shipper to the bank indicating that the documents transferring ownership of the goods should be delivered to the buyer only after the buyer accepts the attached project.
DOC FEE

DEVANNING
Unloading cargo from a container or other equipment.
DETENTION

CUT OFF TIME
The control time of cargo delivery to the terminal and registration of the relevant documents for the flight. 
CUSTOMS VALUE

Customs value, this is the total cost of all items in a commercial batch of goods, which determines how much import duties the recipient must pay. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

CUSTOMS BROKER

Customs brokers prepare and submit documentation to notify or obtain permission from Customs for the release of goods. Many customs brokers specialize in certain goods, such as clothing, perishable products or crew clearance and manifest of large cargo ships.

CUSTOMS

Customs, a public service that is responsible for the administration of customs legislation and the collection of duties and taxes, as well as for the application of other laws and regulations concerning the import, export, movement or storage of goods.

CUSTOMER ORDER
CUSTOMER
An enterprise that uses services as provided by another enterprise.
CUBIC CAPACITY
The throughput capacity of a unit of equipment measured in cubic feet.
CUBE OUT
A situation when a piece of equipment has reached a volumetric capacity before reaching the permissible weight limit.
COUNTERTRADE
A reciprocal trade agreement that involves a number of transactions involving two or more parties.
CONTAINERIZATION
The method of using a box ??a device in which a number of packets are stored protected and processed as a single unit in transit.
CONTAINER YARD
The place specified by the carrier for the reception installation storage storage and delivery of containers and where containers can be picked up by shippers or consignees re-delivered ??with the help.
CONTAINER VESSEL

CONSOLIDATOR
An enterprise that provides group transportation services for orders and/or goods to facilitate movement.
CONSOLIDATION POINT
The place where consolidation takes place.
CONSOLIDATION
Collecting smaller batches to form a larger quantity in order to realize lower transportation rates.
CONSIGNOR
Shippergoods or the shipper of the traffic.
CONSIGNMENT
The goods are sent to a foreign agent when the actual purchase has not been made but when the consignee agrees to sell the goods.
CONSIGNEE
The recipient of the goods, the person to whom the cargo is transferred at the destination. 
CONFERENCE CARRIER
CONFERENCE
A group of ship operators joined in order to set the freight rate.
CONCEALED DAMAGE
The damage is not visible from viewing the closed packaging.
COMMODITY CODE
A code describing a product or a group of products related to the classification of goods. this code can be a carrier of a tariff or regulation by nature.
COMMODITIES
Any article exchange in trade is most often used to refer to raw materials and agricultural products.
COMBINED TRANSPORT
COMBINE FEE
A fee covering the costs in case of registration of a Combined bill of lading (if there are two or more senders).
COLLECTIVE PAPER
All documents (commercial invoices, invoices, etc.) are submitted to the buyer in order to receive payment for transportation.
COLLECT FREIGHT
Cargo is paid to the carrier at the port of unloading or final destination. the consignee does not pay the cost of transportation if the cargo has not arrived at the destination.
COC
The container is owned by the carrier. 
CLL
Cancellation Fee. This fee is applied to each container in the confirmed order that is not in the loading zone, regardless of the timing. This fee is also applicable when the customer 1) reduces the number of containers in the order, 2) transports or moves containers to another vessel, 3) cancels the order, 4) does not take proper action, and the container simply does not get on the ship.
CLEARANCE
A document stating that the cargo can be freely imported into the country after all legal requirements have been met.
CHARTER RATES
The tariff is applied for the chartering of tonnage in a particular transaction.
CFS

Consolidation warehouse, commodity container station, cargo container handling point of a transport company, or expenses in this warehouse.

CCO
Customs ClearanceOrigin. A service offered by the carrier to prepare documents for customs clearance and perform relevant operations on behalf of the client. At some points, the carrier may resort to the services of intermediaries. For transportation within the European Union, the service is applicable at the request of the client and upon providing them with T2L documents.
JIU

CCD

Customs ClearanceDestination. A service provided by the carrier for the preparation of customs clearance of documents and processing of formalities on behalf of the client. The carrier may use 3rd party agents at some locations at the destination. On the inside of the European freight service, it is applied at the request of the client, and when the client provides T2L documents.

CBM
Cubic meter in the metric system. 
CARGO MANIFEST
Cargo manifest. A document that summarizes all the bill of lading shipments loaded onto this vessel and contains all the basic data on the cargo on board the vessel.

CAF

Currency Adjustment Factor. Currency surcharge. Additional fee to the base freight rate calculated as a percentage ofBOF, the value depends on the change in the exchange rate. 

BREAK BULK
Transportation of a small batch of cargo without using a container. 
BOOKING NOTE
The application for transportation is used for reserving space and containers, the information specified in the application is not the basis for filling out the bill of lading, after submitting the application, the applicant assumes the obligation to provide the cargo by the specified deadline. 
BONDED WAREHOUSE
A warehouse under customs control where goods are stored without state taxes:customs warehouseor a temporary storage warehouse.

B/L
BILL OF LADING. (Bill of Lading) A contract of carriage by sea, a document confirming the acceptance of the cargo by the carrier for sea transportation and the obligation to transfer it to the consignee at the port of destination, responsibility to the carrier for the correctness of the application
AMS
AutomatedManifestSystem. Automated Manifest System (AMS) developed by U.S. Customs to facilitate cargo arrival information and release information between ship lines, airlines and rail carriers for imported cargo, or
AMF
Transport Document Amendment Fee. A fee covering additional costs that arise when a request is sent to the carrier to change the transport document (B/L). These changes may include the following: - Information about the consignee - Address - Description of the cargo. Please note that there may be restrictions on at what stage of the delivery process the carrier can make changes, e.g. after loading containers corresponding to transport documents (TPDoc), or after the start of import procedures. Not all change requests can be implemented.
AI
Means that the cost of transportation includes all additional charges stipulated by the conditions of carriage. For example, if we are talking about freight on CY/CY terms, this means that the rate, in addition to freight, loading and unloading, also includes all related p
ADI
Agency Documentation Fee imports. This service extends to the creation and processing of documents required at the destination to complete the shipment i.e. Invoice (B/L), Purchase Order.
ADE
Agency Documentation Fee Exports. This service covers the creation and processing of documents required at the place of dispatch to complete the shipment, i.e. Invoice (B/L), Purchase Order.
3PL (THIRD PARTY LOGISTICS)
The term is used when logistics services are purchased by a third party. The company providing services in the 3PL format assumes responsibility for the entire range of transport and logistics operations, including interaction with suppliers
